Amen.

Madddman, WRT to Bodington, I am far less tempered than Jay, and my opinions would likely be regarded more as diatribe than considered criticism. However, I am surprised you still refer to him as "Colonel" - he wears his new promotion to "General" on everybody's nose just as he did "Colonel". Please don't jump to conclusions based on that remark. His insistance on being addressed by his rank is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to reasons for my dislike.

Paul
That's the type of person I am,I'd call him Colonel to his face just to get a rise.

Yeah,he does overplay the reserve service thing a bit much but I'd rather have that than some of the garbage I have read. Each his own I guess, it's just I've not heard of many that met the man and didn't like him.

If I can ask,What don't you like about the Colonel?
His writing style isn't the best but I've always thought he came off as a pretty good guy.Other than being the typical yesman for Weatherby or whatever he's hawking he seemed like a decent guy.I know people that have hunted with him or have shared a camp with him so that has entered into the equation. They all said he was very unassuming and didn't have his nose in the air.

Well your 2 years younger than me.After my Ex it was a "I'll die alone or I'll be with the perfect person" attitude.I did my thing.Hunt, work, play on the puter and she just dropped out of the sky.I Talked to her on the pc and then the phone for months, flew down to Tampa and she came up to NY a few weeks after and I asked her to marry me.I moved down last august 1st.

Your a good Dude,Hang in there.

Jobs and money aren't what they were in NY and a tragidy in her family just before our marrage didn't help but we'll get through it.

I'm just really missing the NY woods right now;)

I'll most likely vote for Bush myself, but I'm not without doubts. He may be genuine in his intents (I like to believe so), but he's opened the way for others to abuse (y)our rights. In my mind at least, that's not a good thing at all...

especially if kerry gets himself elected.

Az
In of it's self the patriot act (The title really makes me sick) isn't a problem, the problem is when then next liberal democrat get in and decides that gunowners are on par with terrorists.

I voted for Bush,I'm happy he's in but I have problems with him as his father before him.He is spending money like a drunken sailor domestically.Kerry would have ecplised him in 2 weeks however.

The whole "Democrasy in the Middle east" is ridiculus, these people have no want or desire for democrasy. There are too many factions, sects, branches of religion to even have a snowballs chance of making this work.

I would rather see an honesty,We need oil,we are controlling Iraq we will take care of your country(We're going to do it anyway) but the oil is ours.

Don't make the mistake that this war was over anything but.

Quote from: FlatlanderDragonfly if you don't go 80 in Ktown you will get run over what gets me is when they have a lane down they announce it a mile ahead and thesze people can't figure out how to merge they'll wait till they get to sign then they all slam on the brakes and once that starts you have a traffic jam also when you have a wreck they all have to see it no matter which side it's on if you want to see the wreck pull over and look don't stop in the middle of the interstate to see I coulld go on but off my soarbox:rolleyes:
If there's an accident that I wait 45min-an hour to see,I'm getting a good look.
