With that however, will end the shortest day of our year, and the days will start getting longer.

The tomatoes are ripening on the vine, and that only means one thing around here,...
It's time for BLTs!!
I'm all stocked up on bacon, I have a head or two of romaine in the crisper drawer, and the first ripe 'mater this year is an 'early girl.'

Here's to good (great) eats from my garden to yours.

PS, I only eat BLTs when I can get vine-ripened tomatoes.    Store-bought 'maters just aren't the same.

I like the new look and everything seems to function well.
So, many thanks to all those who had a hand in restoring THL.

Hopefully we'll be able to bring this site back to something resembling its former glory.

To all the members and friends here at THL, that celebrate the Christian faith.


The Winter Solstice is behind us, we in the north have a new spring to look forward to.
But tonight it's about the season and its reason, here at our house.
