Am having the 25-06's bore checked out

Hi All,

As your aware the P-H 1200C has not given me the precision that I expected so I have contacted a respected Riflesmith and discussed it with him. He wants to have a look at the bore with his bore scope so this afternoon I have been cleaning the bore to remove any powder and copper fouling. Well I must have done a better job this time as I did give it a clean when I brought it but didn't notice anything in the bore untoward.

However this afternoon I can see what is possibly some heat cracks and crazing in the throat area :o so we shall see. I am going to the NEWARK GUN SHOW that is on over the 27/28TH FEB . Which of course is this weekend and taking the rifle over as he is on one of the stands. I expect he will need to take it up to his workshop in Yorkshire to give it though examination so now it's wait and see time :frown fingers crossed ........................... fingers crossed :undecided: .
