I got a hold of 3black & white photos of Dana Brown, one with an elephant,,,1 tiger,1 with a kulu???
the kulu and elephant ones are signed with blue ball point pen
does any body remember Dana Brown and his safari adventures?
I herd that he lived somewhere near St Louis for a while
I will try to post pictures of the photos, but it sooo hard for me to do it cuz I have dial up

Iwould have to agree with bigsbetter
I used to shoot with some smaller "hunting" scopes on paper .
but they are EXACTLY that, "hunting" scopes, large thick reticals , varable power, for close or far range when you raise your gun up on a prarie dog at 200 yds your not aiming at the 3rd blood filed tick below his ear,you aiming at something much more general the head, or the "center of mass" for most people. with most hunting scopes the crosshairs are going to completly cover up a 1" space at 100 yds

I have a Leupold 45 fixed power and I can honestly say that at 100 yards I can see the head of a # 16 framing nail that is holding up the backstop CLEARLY enough to hold the 1/8" target dot on the left or right side of the head itself

If I'm shooting at some playing cards,I can also place the dot inside the A and still have white all the way arround the dot NUFF SAID !!
