Please be advised that threads that are against forum policy (spam, porn, etc...) should be moved here rather than being deleted.
 
You can do this by using the "thread tools" option, located just above the first post in a thread.
 
The reason for moving them here, instead of physically removing them completely from the board, is so that Staff can review them, and has some idea of what went on in case of a complaint. It's for YOUR protection, as well as ours.  Once staff has reviewed the thread, they'll delete it as they deem appropriate.
 
You've all been doing a great job of keeping the forum clean and free of spam, and we appreciate your efforts. I'm not complaining, but have noticed some threads that have disappeared.

Daryl, sometimes they have p.orn pics imbedded in the post. Thoes I'll just delete as they really aren't appropriate to move here.

Sometimes they do, 'bug.
 
On those, we edit out the pictures and any offensive words after moving them away from the public forum.
 
Jay had one this morning, and had to edit out most of the post due to the offensive pictures and language, but there's enough left to tell what it was.
 
I've been running all/most of the banned member's IP's and such, and it helps me to track who's doing what if the posts are still there when I do it.
 
I report any IP's and e-mails that are used more than once by spammers, and the IP search on this forum (without going into details about HOW it works) works better if the posts are still here when I run the IP check.

Go to thread tools, then choose to move the thread. Be sure & click on the "leave no de-direct" icon....

Once moved here, just edit it for pics & save the rest of it for review by admins and staff.

By leaving the tread as intact as possible, it tells us what kind of problem we may have. It also covers you in case a member chooses to complain about the removal of such a post from the general forum.

For those who do not know if anyone finds a thread in another section of the forum that you do not moderate, it is a good idea also to use the "Report Post" option. Which is located at the upper right corner of the post, indicated with an exclaimation point. It sends a notification to the admins.
