RonSHE NEVER GAVE A RESON WHY SHE COULD TAKE THE GUN. SHE WAS NOT A HAPPY PERSON AT ALL. PRETTY THOUGH!

I was building a .375 H&H bolt for myself once and wrote to Rigby (in the 60s) to see if they would sell me an express sight. They kindly sent one and asked me to send them $10 USA. At the same time they offered me a .600 Nitro double for 6000 Pounds. I thanked them kindly and declined as it was hard enough to get ammo for my own double.
If you lived in the area I would let you kick me one more time!
Quote from: Jay EdwardI lusted after the cartridge in a Brevex Magnum Mauser many years ago but eventually ended up with a .416 Rigby Francotte. It just didn't happen. I also owned a .500/.465 Nitro double but it went down the road as well after an injury limited the recoil I could withstand.
Back then we used Kynoch brass and bullets (which were very expensive) and imported Berdan primers. The bullets alone were $1.50 a piece and that was ruinous 30 or 40 years ago.
