Hey all so i was hoping to get some help on some issues i have had reloading for the 22-250.
I started reloading for the 22-250 for about 8 months now and found a load that works good for hunting coyotes out of my 700VTR, Tikka T3 and Remington Model 788. All has been going good all season until i got the call from my father saying that after firing a couple of the shells were jammed in the chamber and had one heck of a time getting them to eject. I reload based on the 8th edition Hornady hand book using 37.4gr of Varget poweder pushing a 40gr Vmax around 4000fps. Im not running the max load but wondering if my Lee Saftey Scale could be starting to have issues. Im affriad to be over pressuing the chambers. Especially the 788 since it is from the 60's. I do trim my cases before each reload session. so what could possibly be going on. any help would be much apprechated! thanks
