I have a 32 cal Squirrel  rifle.  Does anyone have any idea what the recommended powder charge is for a round ball?  I have had this thing for years and never fired it.
It will all come out in the wash...I hope.

Could not find any 32 loads

If this is a new build replica look up the manufacturer web site, if it is a true antigue then it is time to visit a good BP gunsmith.

I have a Lyman Black Powder Handbook here, but rifle loads start with .36 caliber.

The closest I can come is a load for a .31 caliber replica revolver.  It lists 10 grains of FFFg BP (Goex or C&H) as minimum, and 13 grains as max.

Anyway, thought it might give  you some idea where to start.
