I have had nothing but good luck with the Abe & Sons elk bugle. Sounds good, easy to adjust and replace the latex reed, VERY easy to use. I also use a Sceery cow call that has saved my bacon many times. Best of luck on your hunt.

i have called in a six by six with my hoochie mama and it is very easy to you. it isnt super loud so you might need another call for long range. i was given a mossback widowmaker cow call and it is very loud and easy to make sound good. i hadn't even used a reed call before and i played with it on the ride home from work (a total of six neighborhood blocks) and it sounded just like a cow by the time i got home.
