I reckon klallen might have found this cartridge had he lived in Germany around WW 2.:D

Kinda reminds me of the .338 Talbot.  Interesting case.  Larger in diameter then the BMG, but not as long.  Any report on the barrel length the rifles used with this cartridge?  3500 fps with a 225 gr. bullet seems kinda slow (relatively speaking, of course) for a cartridge using such a powder supply.  Wonder what it could do with modern powders?  Neat cartridge, JAY.  >>  klallen
