Buy the best you can afford ,ask lots ????? and practice. Use a wrist strap release from the start ,i started with a hand held release then realized you have to keep track of where it is in which poket,ect. which means when its crunch time and you have to fummble around you lose vaulable time on the shot.Also smaller isnt allways better axle length and brace height effect the forgiveness of minor form errors. Tonight i was reading in Muzzleloader Magazine that a 50 gr. pellet of 777 is only 30 gr. actual weight compared to Bp. Pyrodex.so if you load 2 50 gr. pellets you are only using a 60 gr. charge. wow now im really confused.

Hi, Just shot my ml yesterday for the first time,it was so cool all the smoke and big bang. My ? is the info in the trip7 box said not to use more than 2 50/50 pellets why is this. My gun is a CVA Kodiak rated for 150 magnum using sabots.I,m new to this and any info is appreciated thanks.:D

Consider it a blessing you missed bad choice of shot in my book. I have had arrows thread under the sod before cant find them unless you really slow down and look at your shot angle.

Okay,im new to this muzzleloading thing  but im wondering can you shoot shot out of a inline muzzle loader if its not a shotgun type. I was thinking if you had the right cup to load maybe it would work? or am i just plane crazy even for thinking this.

Hi all thanks for welcoming me here.aA little about myself,Im 38yrs old and have been a die hard fisherman all my life. Just started to get into huntinglast year with a bow,and now im starting to learn to hunt with a inline muzzle loader.Havent been out with the gun yet next year ive a lot to learn,and i think theres alot of good info here.thank again wont take anymore of your time for now,kodiakrob:D

Hi, Mike i just got my first inline its a CVA  Kodiak .50cal. mossyoak stock blue barrlel.its not the pro model but for what i got it for who cares i wont be on tv anytime soon.Was out xmas shopping with the wife at walmart and it was reduced from 269.00 to 109.00 couldnt pass it up. check your local walmart maybe youll get lucky.hot primmers ,Rob
