New friend found.

This morning, I was heading to the funeral of a good friends wife and saw this little guy at the bottom of the steps. I grabbed a box and took the little fellow/gal for a ride down to my pond below the house. I hope he/she leads a long long happy life there.

That's a snapper! (Chelydra serpentina)! But not an alligator snapper (Macrochelys temminckii). Very cool!
