New elk load

I took Hunter's '06 out today to try a new load door our elk hunt. I started with 48.0gr of IMR-4064 and worked up to 50.0. I didn't chrono them. Once I decide on a load, I'll do that. The bullet is a 165gr Barnes TSX.

The 49.0gr load had a called flier to the left.

The groups look pretty good to me. If she doesn't kill an elk with that, it's operator error. I think if she pops a cap on an elk it'll be meat in the freezer.  :biggthumpup:.......Paul H
