Nice ivories for a cow. Those "Xs" work great when they shoot straight. It's REALLY nice to actually recover one.

I have recovered 3 from elk so far. They have all been longer shots on quartering animals.

My experience is that recovery of Partitions will require the same "longer shots on quartering animals". Or the skull of a coastal brown bear - the bones of which the Partition DIDN'T BREAK!
