That's why I chose those HB as I wouldn't have to sell a kidney to buy one

Quote from: gitano;156909I'm guessing that he forgot the decimal point, and the actual assuming price is $345.00. Which would be a great price!

Paul

You are funny Paul, they go for $3,500 to $4,000 here in Oz for some reason.

FIREARMS & OPTICS / Expensive Sako

Hi Guys,

Going through Ab-usedguns.com.au came across a most expensive Sako that even Rick wouldn't buy. I believe it could be a typo but sure is dear.

Check it out https://usedguns.com.au/gun/519603/

Your thoughts gentlemen.

THE CAMPFIRE / New Additions to the family

Hi Guys,

Sorry about my continuous posts but I am trying to catch up the time I have been away from the forum adapting to life in the country.

Here's a pic of the pups that our girl Evie had, no they are not hunting dogs but very lovable pooches. We kept the black one the others have already gone to their new homes. Sorry about the blurred photo. There's pics of the ones that sold at 8 weeks.

THE CAMPFIRE / Feral Cat

Hi Guys,

My missus was driving the kids to youth one night and happen to take out this feral tom with her Jeep. She says to me later who needs a rifle to get rid of ferals. Here's the pic he was quite a big cat when we got up close.

Again big loss, I liked his direct no-nonsense approach that many may be offended but I like it when when someone tells it to you straight even if it ruffles my feathers initially. I always think about what has been said to me to see if there is truth in what is being said. Sometimes good advice doesn't come sugar coated. Much talent gone there. Very sad.

Hi Paul, that is truly sad to hear. A big loss for THL. What has become of our medical systems in the western world.  I refuse to go into hospital these days. Very sad, sorry for your loss Paul and THL.

Must be hard Paul to fathom having so much darkness, we complain because our winter days are short here, at least there is plenty of daylight.

Thanks Jamie, spring is always nice. We expect a lot of rain Queensland throughout the summer so no doubt there will be floods. They are saying La Nina will bring the rain. The two major towns on either side of us flood pretty badly, so we always have to have a minimum 2 weeks worth of food as the roads get cut off.
