Okay im looking for a new hunting rifle, something I can use for anything in the lower 48, so im going to get a 6.55x55 SE and get in to handloading. So anyhow , I know just about everyone makes a rifle chambered for it. Execpt for Remington and Savage. So Im really leaning towards, the CZ 550, or the Howa, but also Charles Daily makes one, and so does Sako and Tikka, and as well as Ruger, and Winchester. I've heard somewere were i cant recall that the Winchester bolt face, isn't the same as the european made Bolt faces on the CZ, Tikka, or Sako. Its supposed to be that the winchester bolt face is based on the 06 case head and the european ones on the 6.55x55 case head, as anyone else heard this or know anything about it?
