The old muscle cars sure have gone up in value. Surprised to see one for that little money. Relatively speaking.

There are a lot of the Firebirds to be had for less than that $20k. The 455s are mostly in the $15  to $20k range. The GTOs are A LOT more.

I also like Studebakers, but they are fetching a premium. Tough to find one I like for less than $20K, and many MUCH higher.

The Formula 455 Firebird has a place in my 'history', as does the DeSoto. Honestly, there's very, very little that one of them holds over the other in my "wishing". The 'bad' news is that neither of them are very practical for Alaska, AND when you own cars like these, they need their own garage. It'd be a crime to leave them outside in the weather, even not in Alaska.
