I tell you Brith do what I'm doing and get a whole new computer.  Comes cheaper than just a monitor.  Get monitor and all for just a little more with a printer thrown in for good measure.

I would not rub it in a bit, but a local shop is selling redone 1.8's with 40gig hds and 128ram . with crt monitors, for $149 US.
This is really obsolete here and now, a current $399 US coompoot is a 3.2 with 512ram and crt monitor, a flat screen is another $100.
This is with XP home and a bunch of bundled software.

I get those adrenalin rushes too Drinksgin.  Happened not too long ago.  I was on my way to meet someone and had a "tailgater".  I stopped dead in my tracks and went to the shoulder.  He stopped and yelled "Who taught you to drive?" And I'm telling ya, if he had got out of that car I would have been on him like Wooly on an APE!!!:D (this is the short version) LOL!!!
 
I surely had the urge to KILL!!!!! If I had been carrying...I hate to think about it!!! LOL!!!

Hi All,

     Well just remember that almost everything (except .22 R/F BSA Martini's) costs more here. A new system would probably cost around $630 and a new decent monitor aroung the $270 mark however that is all out of my reach just now so let's hope this one carries on for a while yet;)

         I am not surprised at the stupidity of the Police in any way I hear what they do. Since the move I am having nowt but hassle from the local plods, seems they don't like my collection nor the fact I can use lot's of different rifles for hunting, they want to limit me to one or two rifles and I can see trouble ahead. Nothing that they are trying to do is going to reduce crime even in a miniscule way and they are wasting hours upon hiurs of police time. They were here again today fro over two hours. Two of them and one was here last week for over four hours. Then they wonder why i cannot be bothered to help them at all . There might be a sale going on at this rate, by could I do with a lottery win. I would buy a piece of land big enough to shoot whatever I want on it and ban all plods. I would certainly give grave thoughts about emmigrating out of the Police state :frown.

sorry to hear your still getting grief mate,seems each area authority has its own interpretation of the rule of law,my probs seem tiny compared to yorn,but at least our officers are specialised firearms not just local plod who don,t have a clue, our two inspectors both shoot themselves,difficult to pull the wool over their eyes but at least they are fair and know what they are talking about,in my case I have to agree it makes sense there is a bit more involved in deer hunting than plinking thumper or blowing a fox off it,s feet,at least this time there is no set time limit as soon as my supervisors say I am ok its off the ticket,not that bad really.
