Title: Anzac Day Remembered!
Post by: gitano on April 24, 2017, 06:46:06 AM
Anzac Day - is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations" and "the contribution and suffering of all those who have served".

It is the equivalent of Memorial Day in the US.

To all our comrades in arms in Australia and New Zealand, we salute your fallen.

I know this thread is a few years old, but given the fact that today is the 24th of April, I thought it appropriate that it be back at the top tomorrow for our friends "Down Under."

Respectfully, many Americans stand with you folks on ANZAC Day!
