The tomatoes are ripening on the vine, and that only means one thing around here,...
It's time for BLTs!!
I'm all stocked up on bacon, I have a head or two of romaine in the crisper drawer, and the first ripe 'mater this year is an 'early girl.'

Here's to good (great) eats from my garden to yours.

PS, I only eat BLTs when I can get vine-ripened tomatoes.    Store-bought 'maters just aren't the same.

You should live 'at the end of the road'. No such thing as "vine ripened" ANYTHING! One of the MANY things I miss about living Outside is FRESH vegetables. However, WRT to 'maters, my neighbors are Master Gardners, and have a greenhouse in which they raise tomatoes. Occasionally, I get some of theirs. MAN they're good!
