Hi,
I'm a new shotgun owner and am wondering how to best clean the choke threads on the inside of the barrel. I'm paranoid about pushing dirt into the threads, and would appreciate any advice.

 Thanks,

 Paul

I put a few drops of rem-oil on a cloth and put it over my finger and just spin my finger around inside of the barrel where the threads are.  I don't know if that's the correct way or the way you're supposed to do it but that how I do it and it's worked for me so far, and I get a lot of crap off of the threads.  Later

The 30-06 is like a perfect steak next to a campfire, a .300 Win Mag is the same but with mushrooms, a baked potato, and some A-1 Steak sauce...

Marlin,

Thanks for the advice! I will give the spinning finger technique a go!

 Cheers,

 Paul
