I thought I had a good handle on the little buggers where I think they disappeared to was down the hole having babies for a couple of weeks. The shooting was hot and heave today git thirty as they were attacking! Lol the place is over run with them.

I should have had a rifle with me yesterday I had a coyote trot by me while I was in the tractor it would have been an easy shot.

I think your assessment of "where are they" or rather "where have they been" is probably a good one.

By the looks of it I think I may run out of 17 hmr I did get a bunch of 22 mag tipped bullets last summer so I should be the rifle sighted in for that ammo. I still have a fair amount of hmr ammo but there looks to be way more gophers than last year and last year's count was 1250. This year around 350 plus most of those were pre baby season glad I got as many early as I did.
