....arrived yesterday morning. Eric got all his gear washed in scent free soap and was in the Cabelas Stand at 1500. He saw 8 deer of which 2 were small bucks and one "maybe" buck that stayed out of range. He was not busted and had deer within 10 yards.....perfect Southerly wind for the next few days. Here is a pic of the Area of Operation with deer corridors. The Cabelas stand is in a 80 foot high Oak as pictured.

I pick up Evan after school on Friday as the youth portion opens Saturday....so he has just one day to get a deer as he has a football game on Sunday. Eric is going to bow hunt Thur-Sun. The rut is slow developing this year prolly cause of the warm WX.
