Dusty took his with a bow at 30yards
 
KaCee took his with the 6mm at 140yards
 
Ashley got hers with a 300 WSM at 550 yards

Here are some pic of my son KaCee and his elk and mine.
 
Me and KC ran a cross a small heard with 7 cows and 2 spike bulls (can not shoot spikes in that unit ) the cows were beded down all around the bulls so we had to wait 30min for them to get up and start eatting agian. Finally KC got his shoot with his 6mm at 130 yards the cow dropped.The rest of the elk ran in to the timber and we got ready to go to his cow but heard come running out of the timber 40 yards in front of us. I then lifted up my 45-70 sharps and shoot the last cow as they ran by then the work bgain

Hey found a Kimber of Oregon in 7mm mag for $400

Itis a M98 with a 26" fluted stainless steel barrel it looks just like new any one have a kimber or now anything about them

Well it 27F here in the bitteroot valley not much new today need to clean some guns up I may even go do some reloading sping bear season is        3 1/2 months away

Its my last day for the week just on my first cup this morning

Huckleberry pancacks with huckleberry syrup, bacon ,eggs and hasbrowns and I cant for get a side order of grits some OJ and lots of cowboy coffee to help it all go down
