Hello All,

Thought I would remind all B.S.A. B.A. Rifle lovers about the way B.S.A. rifled their barrels. The "Hunter," "Regent," "Viscount," "Imperial," "Emperor," "Majestic," "Monarch," { Mark one & two } were all cut-rifled and lap finnished. The "CF2" was the only Model that was Hammer- Forged. No B.S.A. barrels were ever Button- Rifled.

Would just like to point out that this list is NOT FORM BSA'S FACTORY but from the Birmingham Proof house.

So is the stamp on my Monarch from BSA or the Birmingham Proof House? Did BSA and Parker Hale follow the BPH dates and codes or did they have their own? Regards, Rick.
