I would love to visit RSA. However, my current physical condition would preclude a plains game hunt. SEEING the Big 5 would be cool.  Should I regain reasonable mobility it may come to pass.

I found the original of Coopers' quote.

First "gaucherie" is the wrong word. It means "tactless".  He meant "error".  

And, according to Wickipedia, Bison bison, is only distantly related to the true

buffalo, the Water Buffalo and the African or CAPE buffalo. Seems the 'Colonel'

had it totally BACKWARDS. But anyone who bills himself as a "Guru" needs to

have all he says look at suspiciously.
