Yes, the .44 mag in a lever gun is great for deer and larger but I have to break your bubble! :greentongue: They stuck a 1 in 38" twist in the Marlin, it should be 1 in 20" to 1 in 25".  Accuracy beyond 50 yd's is dismal. If anyone can hit deer where they aim at 150 yd's, please tell me the load! :biggthumpup:
