Welcome to THL Steve.  You'll probably find it pretty easy to find your way around here and you'll find the folks pretty easy to get along with.  Most folks that come here are after the comradeship as well as the atmosphere.  They enjoy the fact that there is a campfire they can visit without the normal tensions you find on most sites.

If you have any problems... sing out and we'll help all we can.  You'll find youngsters roaming around here and we feel the obligation of being role models so that they will become real spotsmen and sportswomen.  We appreciate any help along those lines.

There's a lot of really proficient  outdoors folks here and we try to answer any questions we can.  Hopefully you'll be able to teach us a thing or two yourself.
