I'll have to agree with them patterning you. During turkey season I made the same trip going to a field i was hunting...I had a buck to pattern me. One morning we met up eye to eye he was about 30 yards on top of point coming down I was going up. We both froze for what seemed a long time looking at each other he finally did a couple little snorts real fast and slowly picked up his front end and gracefully loped off. He busted me again this year during muzzleloading season. As far as I know he is still in the area....Hope to see him this weekend.
