On Tuesday, January 25, please make plans to attend a hearing and voice your opposition to a number of anti-firearm bills being heard by the Washington Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee will hear testimony concerning a state wide semi-auto firearm ban, restrictions on where a licensed permit holder may carry his/her firearm, a ban on .50 caliber rifles commonly used by Washington sportsmen and legislation requiring background checks during private transactions.
 
  The hearing will take place at 3:30 p.m, Senate Room 1 in the John A. Cherberg Building. If you are unable to attend please contact your Senator by calling the Washington Legislative Hotline at 1-800-562-6000 and respectfully express your opposition.
