We have had a small furry pest in the house about 2 weeks, especially annoying was it's dining time, 2 to 4 am.
I got mad, broke out the trap, dabbed the peanut butter on the trigger and this morning I had an "X" night time snacker.
They need to fear the old man!

Al , the problem was staying up all night to see the little varmit.
Just in case there was more than one, I rebaited the trap last night and, sure enough, had another one this morning.
Perhaps now I will not be awoken at 2am for a while.

The "rule of thumb" I have always heard, is that if you see one, you have several.
I hope for your sake that is not the case Don.
But my experiences have tended to support the theory.  
I've pulled two from the same trap.  They must have been fighting over the peanut butter when they met their demise.
