Well sir, ta me, bowhuntin' is like working a vegetable garden....Ya' never stop,
Ya just pause between harvests........Particularly if your after the elusive
Whitetail deer!.....sure I do other things but I'm always looking for deer sign
new sites for stands and movement strategies.......I'm an explorer and a wildlife
manager. Always trying new things. This year........Trail Cameras.........YEA!!!!!

Looks like a robot in a ghillie suit.

Roads are still too bad to get out into the woods right now BH51.  It's soooo wet that I don't even want to shoot arrows on my own range.  But soon enough, soon enough.

I don't much have to get out into the woods to see deer, this picture is from the door of my shop right behind the house.

Ha...Ha.....Perhaps the word "elusive" can be omited from your description of
the whitetail deer!...Ha...Can you pet them?..Ha..Ha..Just kidding...good pic!.

Actually BH51... these deer were born right here in the area.  The various does, bucks and fawns have feed out back so long that they don't bolt when I walk out to the wood shop or just head out to the truck.

I have apple trees on my property and they really hang around in the Fall.

I got apple trees on my property also.......And, occasionally I'll have one walk
Or, should I say ATTEMPT, to walk across my back yard....They aren't nearly
as friendly........That is pretty cool though.........Uh,huh....apple-fed deer!.....

I painted a pine cone blaze orange and got it chunked out about 50 yrds down
hill below the house.........It's my target!.......Yea but the color makes it stand
out, it's to remind me to shoot my bow everyday.....1st shot is the most
significant as it is that shot that represents my true accuracy for hunting........
Represents my ability to focus, control myself, aim and smooth release without
the aid of prior pactice..........Often the scenerio of my early morning roll-out
when deer movement forces me out of the sack b'for daylight, and I can't risk
releasing arrows from my stand for practice, and yardage assessments.....Yea..
I'm just jabbering, jibberish but bowhuntin' will be back in here for ya know it!!..
