At just a smidg'it under 25 lbs,  this is the biggest fish I've taken
with a bow..........It's a razorback carp, taken just the other day on
a tributary in the Mississippi / Hatchie river basin area near my home.
Have to use broadheads on these big boys....................................BH51:)

Well, I tell ya, david't......You can eat'em, but they not tha best eaten'...
Some people can'em when they caught early spring in cold water...Say
they're like salmon, I dunno...Meat is dark, red and subject to taste oily
and/or muddy later in the spring and summer....I skin the hide off'em
and feed'em to chickens....does'em much good,,,Protein....lay a bunch of
eggs and feather out good....Fun shoot'n, mostly...........................:) BH51

Ask not what your government can do for you. Ask how your government can go away and get out of your life.

Naw....that ain't none of me....That's the Jumpin' carp....we got them here
and I've been in that situation only never thought to shoot them with
bow like that...Have caught them in the air with dip nets like catching
butterflies...lots of fun...They are a nusaince fish of great concern to
wildlife management, as they are effecting game fishing...I took my carp
from a log, hanging over a slow-moving creek bank...Good stuff, H'bug....
