RELOADING / Re: OSHA to ban handloading?

HOW TO POST A COMMENT

Looks like someone is trying to be sneaky. Our guns won't be of too much use if we can't get ammo for them.  DO SOMETHING NOW, instead of whinning about it after the fact:(
http://www.nssf.org/news/PR_idx.cfm?PRloc=common/PR/&PR=BP070207.cfm
Here are the step by step instructions on how to post a comment. You may want to have that first post minimized and a 2nd RIMFIRECENTRAL.com window open so that you can quickly and easily refer back to the instructions for making your comment.
God Bless, Frank.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTING A COMMENT!!!!!!!
1.   Clink on the link at the top this post and go to a page on the NSSF website.
2.   Find the "TEMPLATE LETTER" about 2/3rds down on the left side. Click on it. Fill in the date at the top
and type in you name at the bottom. Then do the CTRL-C thing to put it into the computers short
term memory. Click on the BACK BUTTON and go to the bottom of the page
and click on the link "www.regulations.gov" close to the bottom of that page.
3.   Find 'ALL DOCUMENTS OPEN FOR PUBLIC COMMENT" and click on it. In the PAGE BOX type in
COLOR=Red]18[/COLOR] and hit the ENTER button.
4.   About the middle of this page find "OSHA-2007-0032-0001" Title is "EXPLOSIVES". On the right you
will find a yellow/gold ballon, put the curser on it, it should say "add comments", click on it.
5.   This opens a new page. In the "SUBMITTER INFORMATION" section fill in the appropriate fields. (I
found that it also works to just type "private" in places that you don't want publicized, like your
      street address) Courtesy of JetGirl

6.   Then find the "GENERAL COMMENTS" box on the same page and do the CTRL-V thing to paste
you "TEMPLATE LETTER" into the comments box.
7.   Go to the bottom of this page and click on the "NEXT STEP" box. If the same page come back up you
didn't fill out something correctly on this page. Check the "Submitter Information" section. Red type
to the right of any field is why it won't accept your comment. I put a period behind my middle initial
and that field only allows ONE CHARACTOR. I deleted the period and it went through just fine!!! You
even get a confirmation number of sorts so you can find "Your Comment"
So now that you know HOW to submit a comment PLEASE submit one!!!

Quote from: RatherBHuntin;61877Not many people from your neck of the woods on here Tfrank. Hopefully there are some members from Virginia that will take this opportunity to introduce themselves. Will you be using one of those Mossberg .22s to hunt them little tree rats with?

Thats too bad that there aren't more people from No Va here, it would be neat to meet some more like minded folks!!
Am I gonna use one of them Mossbergs??? What on earth else would I use!!! Of course I'm going to use one of my Mossys!!! A .22 is the BEST way to hunt squirrels, at least for me it is. Have a great day RBH!!!
God Bless, Frank.

VDGIF has a new spring squirrel hunting season and I was wondering how many people were aware of it, and if anyone was considering going squirrel hunting this June??? There are only a few public hunting areas that will be open for the spring season and C W Phelps WMA is one of them and that is pretty close by!!!

SMALL GAME / Re: small game hunitng is it a lost art
April 24, 2007, 01:45:01 PM
Been a while since I've been here, mostly hang out on a different site, but it is pretty much small game oriented!!!
I started out small game hunting and in the last couple of years have gotten back into it pretty heavily. Used to do a lot of squirrel and groundhog hunting but the place that I started my hunting career turned into a housing developement about 30 years ago. Very much to my sorrow. I have some absolutely fantastic memories of those early years and wouldn't trade them for anything. Just thinking about those times brings back great memories of people, places and good times. Thanks!!!
God Bless, Frank.

Thanks, Buckshot. Thats a really good trick. I've always tossed a stick, but I can see the white sock working alot better.  God Bless, Frank.

FIREARMS & OPTICS / Re: A nice .22 plinker
April 01, 2005, 12:03:29 PM
What kind of rimfire are you looking for. New, used, bolt, semi-auto, and so on... How bad do you want it??? In the next 5 minutes, or in the next month or so?? Go to http://gunbroker.com/ or http://auctionarms.com/ and do a little brousing and see what is available, you might be surprised!! There are a lot of good used firearms out there.
Myself I really like Mossbergs, but Mossberg hasn't made a rifle since about 1988 (I think) Last Mossberg I got was made approx 1950-1960, nice walnut stock and all steel with the exception of the plastic butt plate and triggerguard. The stock needs some pretty serious work but I knew that when I bid on it. Not a novice's gun, but it will be a beauty when I finish with it.:D Hope this helps. God Bless, Frank.
